SENSOLIFE Showcases at Web Summit’s Health Tech Track
Lisbon, Portugal — At one of the world’s largest and most influential technology gatherings, SENSOLIFE made its global debut this week at Web Summit 2024, earning strong attention on the Health Tech Track for its radically simple approach to AI-powered elderly care. Positioned between digital health giants and AI startups, SENSOLIFE stood out for its humanity-first mission — offering a companion that supports seniors’ minds not through diagnostics or data dashboards, but through daily conversation.
From the Lab to the Stage
On July 17th, co-founder and CEO Mohammad Mohammad Amini took the stage in the AI + Aging panel, presenting SENSOLIFE’s journey from prototype to pilot, and its vision for accessible, dignified, non-medical cognitive support.
“We didn’t build another wearable. We built something you can talk to when no one else is around,” Amini told a packed audience.
His keynote addressed:
- The failure of screen-based aging tech for non-digital seniors
- Voice as a primary tool for detecting early cognitive decline
- How SENSOLIFE respects privacy by avoiding raw audio storage
- Why emotional presence is as important as medical care
Live Demo Draws International Attention
In the Health Tech Expo area, attendees interacted with the latest SENSOLIFE prototype, equipped with:
- Personalized AI twin
- Multilingual support (EN, PT, ES, FR)
- Local/offline fallback mode for low-bandwidth homes
- Companion prompts for memory, hydration, and mental stimulation
Visitors from Japan, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Brazil expressed strong interest in localized versions for their aging populations.
One delegate from a Dutch eldercare accelerator remarked:“This is the first booth here where people aren’t staring at a screen — they’re actually having a conversation.”
A Different Kind of AI
Web Summit attendees were especially drawn to how SENSOLIFE differs from traditional medical tech:
- No wearables
- No apps
- No diagnoses
- No complex setup
Instead, the device focuses on daily routine reinforcement, cognitive pattern recognition, and emotional companionship, delivered entirely through natural voice.
This simplicity resonated with investors, policy makers, and care organizations seeking low-friction, high-impact solutions.
Expanding Global Conversations
As a result of the exposure at Web Summit:
- Multiple EU public health agencies requested demo units
- Conversations were initiated with eldercare NGOs in Southeast Asia
- Interest was received from impact-focused venture capital in Berlin, Dubai, and Toronto
The summit also sparked collaborative talks with smart home technology providers to integrate SENSOLIFE into ambient wellness ecosystems.
Reflections from the Team“Web Summit showed us how universal this challenge is — and how simple ideas, when well executed, can cross borders,” said COO Davood Fanaei.
“We didn’t go there to impress. We went to listen. And we left with a clearer mission.”
Looking Ahead
Following the Web Summit showcase, SENSOLIFE has been invited to apply for:
- The EU Smart Health Accelerator 2025
- The AgeTech Innovation Challenge in Belgium
- The Global AI for Good forum in Geneva
This marks a new phase — from pilot project to platform recognized on the global stage.
